General Care Tips

Stain Treatment

Address stains immediately. Blot (don't rub) with a clean cloth. For delicate fabrics, take to a professional cleaner rather than attempting home remedies that may damage the fabric.

Zari & Embellishment Care

Keep zari work away from moisture and perfumes. Store with zari folded inward. Never iron directly on zari - it can tarnish or melt. Clean only through trusted dry cleaners.

Color Preservation

Always dry in shade to prevent fading. Add a tablespoon of vinegar to the final rinse for cotton sarees to help set colors. Avoid harsh detergents that strip color.

First Wash Tips

For new sarees, wash separately for the first 2-3 washes. Some color bleeding is normal for handwoven sarees. Test a small hidden area if unsure about color fastness.
